Muhammad the Philanthropist

Muhammad Ali may have retired from boxing, but he wanted to leave a legacy larger than athletics.  In his older years, he began doing philanthropic work.  In the 80s, Muhammad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.  That is a very dangerous disease and it too often fatal.  He used his disease to inspire a Parkinson Disease Center named after himself.  The center is located in Arizona.  He also supports many other organizations and charity groups.  He has received awards for his work and has even opened a new Parkinson's Center in his hometown Louisville, Kentucky.
