What made Muhammad Ali the athlete he came to be?

Muhammad Ali's birth name is Cassius Clay jr.  He was born in Louisville Kentucky.  He grew up with vicoius racism and prejudice.  He persevered through that and became an athlete, and philanthropist, and a social activist.

Birth of a Legend

 

Cassius Clay was not born to become a boxer.  In fact, he took up boxing to defend himself against the people that stole his bike.  He was trained by the police officer who took down his report for the stolen bike and the rest is history.

Muhammad Ali went to Central High School in Louisville Kentucky.  He did not attend college because he decided to focus on boxing.
